The powerful combination of lean principles and digital technologies accelerates waste identification mitigation faster than traditional methods. new (also referred to as Lean 4.0) solutions incorporate sensors equipment, yielding innovative that extend the reach tools. tracking flexible configurable production systems is not straightforward in a simple conveyor. This paper examines how information provided by indoor positioning (IPS) can be utilised transformation manufacturing. proposed IPS-based method enriches sources value stream mapping transforms positional data into key-performance indicators used Manufacturing. challenges reconfigurable manufacturing require dynamic mapping. To handle this problem, process mining-based solution has been proposed. A case study show employed for monitoring improving efficiency.
